Adv. Anil A. Dhawas is a distinguished legal professional with an illustrious career as both an advocate and a judicial officer. With strong academic credentials including LL.B., LL.M., NET in Law, MBA (HR), MBL (Corporate Laws), multiple postgraduate diplomas in Cyber Law, Intellectual Property, and Digital & Cyber Forensics, along with M.A. degrees in Political Science, Public Administration, and Philosophy, he embodies a rare blend of legal scholarship and practical expertise.
Enrolled as an Advocate on 7th July 2003 with the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa, he began his practice at the District and Sessions Court, Chandrapur. In 2006, he successfully cleared the MPSC Examination and joined the State Judicial Service as Civil Judge (JD) & Judicial Magistrate First Class. Rising through the ranks, he was promoted to Senior Civil Judge in 2016. After serving with distinction, he voluntarily resigned from judicial service in July 2017 to resume independent legal practice at the High Court, Nagpur Bench.
His expertise spans across Civil, Commercial, Cyber, and Corporate Laws, along with specialized knowledge in Intellectual Property and Forensic Studies. He has been invited as a guest speaker at national-level Cyber Conclaves, including a prestigious panel headed by the Hon’ble Minister of Law & Justice, Electronics, and Information Technology.
Adv. Dhawas has contributed significantly to legal education and training, serving as a regular visiting faculty at the Judicial Officers’ Training Institute (JOTI), Nagpur for four years, and as a guest lecturer for premier institutions such as Maharashtra National Law School, IAS Academy, Indian Air Force, NADT, and various reputed universities and bar associations.
A committed advocate and educator, he continues to blend deep legal knowledge, judicial experience, and academic excellence, making him a highly respected figure in the legal fraternity.
